Wachiwi Dark Brown Box Calf Loafers

The upper pairs dark brown box calf with dark brown painted calf, two treatments of the same leather that catch light at different rates. A plain cognac leather sole runs underneath. The shoe is built on the Zurigo last, rounded at the toe in the traditional English manner. Every pair is handmade, and the small irregularities that come with that are part of it.

Laceless means the shoe goes on in one motion, which is most of the reason loafers survive. Comfort is the other. Wear it bare ankled with chinos when it is warm and with a fine sock and trousers when it is not. The loafer holds both without looking like it is trying.
