Linen on a formal shoe is unusual, and the Victus uses it twice, in ice and in navy, underneath a contrasting double monk strap.
Ice linen and navy linen share the upper with navy painted calf, so two woven panels sit against one smooth one. Cobalt blue calf leather lines the inside. The sole is ultramar slipper leather. Handmade, so no two pairs are identical.
This is a Belgian slipper, which means it goes on as easily as a slip on while looking as formal as anything you would wear to an occasion. The apron front and the double monk arrive together. It belongs to warm evenings and to outfits that can carry a pale panel without looking underdressed.
