Ronelio Wholecut in Dark Brown Suede

Cut from a single piece of leather, the Ronelio carries almost no stitching at all. A wholecut is the most formal men's shoe available and the plainest to look at.

The whole upper is dark brown suede, so the shoe reads soft where a wholecut usually reads sharp. Closed channel lacing keeps the front clean. Underneath, a leather sole carries buttons rubber injections for grip. The last is the Zurigo, rounded at the toe for the traditional English look. It is handmade.

Suede takes the formality down a step, which is what makes this version wearable well outside a black tie evening. The sleek, unbroken line survives the change intact. Wear it with grey flannel or navy trousers and let it be the softest thing in the outfit.
