Oro Double Monk in Embossed Croco and Flannel

Embossed croco against light grey flannel is not a combination anyone arrives at by accident, and the Oro does not pretend otherwise.

Black painted embossed croco shares the upper with flannel in light grey, raised texture beside soft cloth, and two straps cross the join between them. Orange calf leather lines the inside, so the warmest colour on the shoe is the one nobody sees. The sole is orange Goodyear welt leather with mountain rubber injections worked into it for grip. It sits on the Savile last, whose slight chisel toe keeps the outline sleek. Handmade throughout, so no two pairs come out the same.

Two straps and no other fastening make this the modern turn on a classic, elegant shape, and the materials take that turn a good deal further than usual. It is a shoe for a room with people in it. Everything above the ankle should stay quiet.
