Three panels, two colours, and no fastening anywhere. The Nonda is a loafer that spends its complexity on the upper instead of the closure.
Black suede meets burgundy suede meets burgundy painted calf, which gives the shoe two napped surfaces and one smooth one to play against each other. The sole is leather with buttons rubber injections set into it. It is built on the Zurigo last, rounded at the toe for the traditional English look. Handmade, so no two pairs match exactly.
Loafers are laceless and easy to take on, and they are correct at the weekend and correct in the office, which is why they never go away. A multi-panel pair like this one narrows that slightly toward the days you want to be looked at. Keep the trousers plain.
