The James Lu keeps to browns and lets the two of them meet in the middle of the shoe. Nothing on it fastens.

Dark brown box calf takes the larger share of the upper, with med brown painted full grain worked in beside it, so a smooth surface meets a slightly coarser one. A jogging sole is fitted below. Each pair is handmade, and the small irregularities that come with that belong to the shoe rather than spoil it.
