The Jag runs two browns into each other and lets the join do the decorating. It is a loafer, so there is nothing else to fasten or adjust.
Cognac painted calf and dark brown painted calf share the upper, the lighter shade warming the darker one where they meet. The sole is leather with buttons rubber injections worked into it, which adds grip. Every pair is handmade, and the small irregularities that follow from that are part of it.
Comfort and style is the loafer's entire proposition, and being laceless is how it delivers both. Weekend or office, the shoe does not need to be told which. Chinos and cropped trousers suit it, and so does anything that shows a little ankle.
