Cloth and patina on the same shoe: the Gandhi puts brown flannel next to a brown crust patina and keeps both in one colour.
The two share the upper, soft weave against a hand-finished surface, with two straps crossing the join between them. Brown calf leather lines the inside. The sole is cognac leather with rubber injections set into it for grip. It sits on the Monti last, which ends in a slightly square toe. Every pair is handmade.
Two straps make the double monk the modern reading of a classic, elegant shape, and this version reads warmest of all of them. It belongs to the colder months and to outfits with some texture already in them. Grey or brown trousers, nothing shiny.
