Balti Double Monk in Nailhead, Grey and Navy

Nailhead reads as texture from any distance, and on the Balti it sits between a grey suede panel and a navy leather one.

Nailhead sartorial, grey lux suede and navy painted calf divide the upper three ways, cloth to nap to smooth. Tan calf leather lines the inside. Underneath is a brown heeled rubber sole, which lifts the shoe and makes it easier on a hard surface. It is built on the Zurigo last, rounded at the toe for the traditional English look. Handmade.

Two straps across the upper are the modern turn on a classic, elegant shape, and this one takes the turn with three materials at once. It is still a shoe that goes under tailoring. Keep everything above it plain and it will be the most interesting thing you have on.
