Burgundy, burnished until it darkens at the toe and the heel. The 5909 is a loafer with one material and a good deal of depth in it.
The upper is burnished burgundy luxe calf leather throughout. Tan calf leather lines the inside and the sole is dark red leather, so the shoe stays in one colour family from top to bottom. It is built on the Zurigo last, rounded at the toe for the traditional English look. Every pair is handmade.
