The Tima is built on the Monti last, which ends in a slightly square toe and gives the shoe a firmer outline than the rounded alternative would.
Herringbone sartorial and dark brown painted full grain share the upper, a woven panel against a textured leather one. Navy calf leather lines the inside. The sole is leather with buttons rubber injections set into it for grip. Handmade, so small differences between pairs are normal.
Two straps across the upper make this the modern turn on a formal shape, and the squared toe gives it the classic elegance the last was cut for. It is a shoe that reads as considered from every angle. Keep the trousers plain and dark and it will carry the outfit.
