Cobalt blue, in patent, on an oxford. The Lusio has made exactly one decision and made it completely.
The upper is cobalt blue patent throughout, held by the closed lacing that defines the shape. Navy calf leather lines the inside. The sole is ultramar Goodyear leather with buttons rubber injections worked into it, so the shoe is welted and gripped underneath all that shine. It sits on the Monti last, ending in a slightly square toe. Handmade.
The oxford is a staple because it dresses up or down without complaint, and this one only goes up. It is elegant, classic and timeless in shape and nothing of the sort in colour. An evening shoe, worn with everything else kept dark.
