Navy twice and a plaid across the middle. The Lorrd is a double monk that changes texture faster than it changes colour.
Plaid sartorial shares the upper with navy pebble grain and navy painted calf, so a pattern sits between a grained panel and a smooth one in the same shade. Navy calf leather lines the inside. The sole is leather with buttons rubber injections set into it. It is built on the Zurigo last, rounded at the toe for the traditional English look. Every pair is handmade.
Two straps across the upper make the double monk the modern reading of a classic, elegant shape. This one holds that reading together by refusing to add a second colour. Grey trousers, and let the plaid be the only pattern below the waist.
