The Boardwalk is built on the Savile last, which finishes in a slight chisel toe and gives the loafer a sleeker outline than a rounded one would.
Blackwatch sartorial and med brown box calf share the upper, a dark cloth against a warm smooth panel. Tan calf leather lines the inside and the sole is plain brown Goodyear leather. Every pair is handmade, so small differences between one pair and the next are normal rather than faults.
Loafers are laceless and easy to take on, appropriate at the weekend and correct in the office. The chisel toe here narrows the shoe visually and pushes it toward the dressier end of that range. Wear it with a trouser that breaks cleanly and nothing more complicated than that.
