A wholecut is made from a single cut of leather, which is why it carries so little stitching, and the Andrios uses that plainness to run two browns into each other.
Dark brown painted calf and cognac painted calf share the upper, with closed channel lacing keeping the front clean. Orange calf leather lines the inside and the sole is plain forrest green leather. It sits on the Monti last, which ends in a slightly square toe. Handmade throughout.
This is often called the most formal men's shoe available, and its sleek design and limited stitching are the reason. The two colours here soften that without spoiling it. Wear it where a plain black shoe would be correct and slightly dull.
