The Alexander is a loafer with a woven panel on it: herringbone sartorial set against black painted calf, and nothing anywhere that needs fastening.
Black calf leather lines the inside and a leather sole runs underneath. The shoe is built on the Zurigo last, whose rounded toe is where the traditional English look comes from. Every pair is handmade, so small differences between one pair and the next are part of the object rather than a defect in it.
